Indeed, heroine Manjari Phadnis has sung a song as did Javed Ali again
And Yuvan, this time, has concentrated only on composing and not on singing as well!
Yet to listen to the songs!

Both the remixes were not composed by Yuvan, but by someone called Aditya!

Director has seemingly asked for heavy beats and peppy songs as almost all the songs have a Hip-Hop/Rock touch, even the melodies!

"Azhagana Neeyum", "Uyire Uyire" and "Nenjukulla" are more or less melodies, while the rest is very much from the Hip-Hop and Rock genre!

My pick as of now is July Madhathil!

Yeah, it takes time! He's slowly learning!

However, I found both Manjari's and Javed's pronounciation not bad! Madhushree as usual...

Mutthirai audio launch was short and sweet!
By Moviebuzz | Thursday, 07 May , 2009, 13:31

Mutthirai produced by Vikram Bhatt’s ‘ASA productions&Enterprises Pvt Ltd’ and Aneez Tanvir’s ‘A vision Jeeva studio films’ had a simple and elegant audio launch at Sathyam Cinemas today (May 7) morning.

The lead cast of Daniel Balaji, Nitin Satya and Manjari Phadnis were present.

The chief guest for the function was Gautham Menon who is a close friend of Aneez and her late husband director Jeeva.

The noted absentee for the launch was music director Yuvan Shankar Raja. The function did not have the normal clichés associated with audio launches in recent past and was short and sweet.

Only Gautham Menon, Vikram Bhatt and Aneez gave brief speeches. Said Gautham: “ I am glad that Aneez has made her dream come true. Cameraman Salim and director Sreenath are both from Jeeva School of film making and I wish them all the best. Yuvan’s songs are pretty good and I look forward to working with him in future”.

Mahesh Bhatt announced that he is very impressed with the trailer of his first venture in Tamil and his company plans to have further association with Aneez by launching two more films, one directed by Aneez herself and another one titled Pinkurippu directed by debutant Mani N, an associate of Gautham Menon.

A sleek trailer and two songs were premiered for the audiences. Both the songs were shot in similar manner inside a bar with Om Shanthi Om… on Lakshmi Rai, one of the heroines and The night is still young.. on Rakhi Sawant who is doing a special appearance in this song.

Aneez is her speech said: “My husband Jeeva had a dream to take Tamil cinema to great heights but destiny was cruel. Now I am trying to take his dream forward. Making Mutthirai was a great learning experience for me. My artists and crew were extremely supportive”.
